Dev Log 4


After our last presentation we made some adjustions based on the feedbacks provided. 

We finalized that the obstacles falling would be some kind of furniture, ex: piano, safe, chandelier, anvil and these obstacles would need to be dodged.

As for projectiles, we wanted it to be silly but also lethal, ex: shoe, bombs, tomato, banana, bowling balls, anything random and not too serious.

We are focusing to finish the first level this week, here are some features that would be finished:

For sound effects, whenever "get down" is pressed, a voice line would come along with it. Footsteps, whoosh sound (when obstacles are in the air flying), falling sound (when obstacles falls, whistle), president hit sound is aimed to be done.

On the art side the Whitehouse walls, floors, toilet, window these assets would be done.

Animations of the agents walking are finished, still need the president. 

At the end the coding team would be putting everything together!!

Some other things we discussed were if we wanted to add a timer to every level, however, it might add too much frustration to the player so this idea is crossed out.

Another cool idea would be to add the first lady as an obstacle (and is going after the president), could be doable but need to have the main mechanics finished first.
